HCSS Audio Visual Technician
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide guidance and support of the classroom/conference room equipment. Pre-test, operate and maintain various audio-visual, videography equipment and systems.
MAJOR DUTIES/CRITICAL TASKS:
- Instructs customers on the proper use of equipment.
- Provides minor repairs to audio-visual and related equipment.
- Supports information services with teleconference events/services.
- Assists with PowerPoint, PC and laptop set-up for multimedia presentations.
- Stays current with applicable UTMB, State and Federal rules and regulations.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
- Performs related duties as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED, and two years related experience.
EQUIPMENT:
Pre-test, set up and operate the following equipment: LCP projector, computer, audio/visual accessories, standard Microsoft office software.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Standard multimedia environment.
