Mental Health Associate - Emergency Services 7a-7p
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Functions as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team to provide technical and supportive care in an assigned area to high risk patients who may be agitated, impulsive, disoriented and/or at risk of falling or self-injury.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduation or equivalent and completion of one of the following approved technical programs:
- Nurse Assistant program plus one year of clinical experience in Emergency or Behavioral Medicine, or
- Medical Corpsman plus one year of clinical experience, or
- EMT program plus one year of clinical experience, or
- Is enrolled in a recognized School of Nursing and has completed the first semester of education which contains clinical concepts and health assessment or the equivalent, or
- Two years of patient care experience in Emergency or Behavioral Medicine in an acute care facility.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is working 9:00am to 7:00pm
SALARY RANGE:
From $26,960 to $33,700 annually, commensurate with experience
