Medical Laboratory Technologist, Laboratory Services - weekends and/or evening shift
Provides technical skills necessary in performing laboratory procedures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Basic Science. Qualifies as Testing Personnel for high complexity testing under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA). No experience required.
Work Schedule
Evenings and/or weekends. Up to 19.99 hours per week with no benefits
Medical Laboratory Scientist, Laboratory Services -
Provides technical skills necessary to perform and report moderate or highly complex laboratory tests within a division of the clinical laboratory.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Basic Science. No experience required.
Must obtain certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), or equivalent certification as appropriate, within 12 months of hire.
Work Schedule:
Openings for the following:
- Full time 1pm to 9pm
- Full time night shift
- Up to 19.99 hours per week (not benefit eligible)
Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist, Laboratory Services
Provides administrative and technical skills necessary to organize, supervise, and complete various medical laboratory procedures within a laboratory.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a Clinical Laboratory Science or Basic Science with two (2) years related experience. Technologist level certification from either the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Board of Medical Technology (AMT), or the American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ABHI) or equivalent certification. Qualifies as Testing Personnel for high complexity testing under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA).
Preferred Qualifications
Generalist experience with Blood Bank.
ASCP certification
Phlebotomist - Up to 19.99 hours per week
Performs collection of blood samples through the use of skin puncture and venipuncture techniques.
Minimum Qualifications
High school or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Phlebotomy certification from the ASCP, AMT, NCCT, NHA, or other equivalent certifying organization a plus.
