Coordinator I, Ob-Gyn Gynecology (Mission, TX)
JOB DESCRIPTION:To provide coordination of all phases and activities associated with special university or community programs.
Min Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent; 1 year related experience.
Specific Job Related Duties:
- Work closely with the Rio Grande Valley regional team to implement essential activities devoted to the progress of the CPRIT funded “School-Based Human Papillomavirus Vaccine Program.”
- General data management which is comprised of data collection, entry, analysis, pooling, and organization.
- Ensure that all regional team data which is required to reflect the progress of the project is cleaned, entered correctly and in a timely manner, and organized to avoid the duplication of work for the team.
- Assist the project manager and compliance manager in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports as per funding requirements.
- Coordinate with school nurses and administration to plan and execute events where vaccines are administered to children in the districts of interest.
- Work with parental engagement staff and community stakeholders to schedule and execute educational events where detailed information about the effects of the human papillomavirus and how the HPV vaccine can prevent various diseases will be disseminated.
- Connect with local stakeholders and providers to describe the benefits of administering and tracking the vaccine.
- Seek opportunities for the expansion of the program to other areas/districts.
